Step 11: Now, select the Wireless Security option.
Step 12: From the drop-down menu, select the option for security mode you want to go with.
Step 13: It is preferred to choose the WPA2/WPA mixed mode.
Step 14: Then, enter the password for your existing WiFi network.
Step 15: After that, click on the Save button to apply the settings.

So, this will make your extender be configured according to your existing WiFi router. It means it is now synchronized with your router’s network. So, now your network is extended to the non-reachable areas as well. So, you can use your network and complete your work with proper network speed.
